Millennium Center at the Tulsa Zoo

The Millennium Center is a partnership between Tulsa Partners Inc. and the Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum, private industry, environmental groups, professional organizations and human-service organizations to construct an innovative exhibit site and programs that will:

Show how the choices we make in our daily lives can make us safer and more environmentally responsible
Profile the latest disaster-resistant building features
Give people ways we can provide more responsible natural resource management and environmentally-friendly living for our family
Provide homeowners with tornado SafeRoom construction alternatives to ensure a more secure living environment
Showcase cost-effective, energy efficient, sustainable building methods and materials
Give visitors ideas we can take home and incorporate into our daily lives.

Millennium Center Vision

The Millennium Center will explore ways we can live safely and in harmony with nature. Through the Millennium Center Living education programs, visitors will learn how we can protect our homes and families from the violent side of nature while living in a way that protects the environment.

The Center will provide exciting and interactive demonstrations and exhibits for all ages that emphasize the importance of blending disaster resistant and environmentally friendly concepts.

The Center Program will reach out to schools, professional organizations and other groups to extend our influence beyond the boundaries of the Tulsa Zoo
