Millennium Center Home at the Tulsa Zoo

The Millennium Center is a partnership among the Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum, private industry, environmental groups, human-service organizations and Tulsa Partners Inc., to construct an innovative exhibit site that will:

Profile the latest disaster-resistant building features
Educate the public on responsible natural resource management and environmentally-friendly living
Provide homeowners with tornado SafeRoom construction alternatives to ensure a more secure living environment
Showcase cost-effective, resource-efficient, sustainable building methods and materials
Give visitors ideas they can take home and incorporate into their daily lives.

Millennium Center Vision

The Millennium Center will explore the concept of living safely and in harmony with nature. Through the Millennium Center Living education programs, visitors will learn how they can protect their homes and families from the violent side of nature while living in a way that protects the environment.

The Center will provide interactive demonstrations for all ages that emphasize the importance of blending disaster resistant and environmentally friendly concepts.
