Corey Williams brings twelve years experience to the Millennium Center from the environmental and sustainability fields. She is the Founder and Past President of Sustainable Tulsa, a nonprofit dedicated to environmental stewardship, responsible economic growth and quality of life for all. She currently serves as the Executive Director and has chaired the Tulsa Area Green Directory project for 2006 and 2007.
She graduated from Humboldt State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resources. She served as Co-Director of the Humboldt State University Campus Center for Appropriate Technology, which during her tenure developed appropriate technology curriculum for children in grades K-12.
She also brings years of experience from Tulsa County Conservation District and Blue Thumb, with a focus on water quality. As Senior Researcher for The Metropolitan Environmental Trust, she focuses on recycling and solid waste disposal related issues. Williams is dedicated to building partnerships and creating a Tulsa team dedicated to green and safe living.
